Download Mega links on Android with Maru

Maru takes a mega.nz link, downloads the file on its own servers and puts it in your Maru cloud. From there you can watch it in the app, open it in VLC or MX Player, or copy a direct link into a download manager like 1DM.

Steps

  1. Install Maru from Google Play and sign up with your email.
  2. Tap the mega.nz link on your phone. Mega links open straight in Maru. You can also copy the link, open Maru, go to ADD and tap Paste.
  3. Maru fetches the file on its servers. You can follow it in MY LINKS, and the app tells you when it's done.
  4. Open it in MY LINKS. Tap a video to play it in Maru, or long-press any file for Get link, Open in external player (videos) or Open with (other files).

Other file hosts

Mega is one of 36 file hosts Maru works with. A few others people use often:

The steps are the same for all of them: paste the link in ADD. Terabox and Google Drive links aren't supported.

What it costs

Adding a link is free. Points are used when you stream or download the file: 1 point = 1 GB. You need some points in your account before you can add a link.

Points come in one-time packs through Google Play, UPI included: 250 GB for ₹99, 1 TB for ₹299, 10 TB for ₹2,499. No subscription, and points never expire. New accounts get 10 GB free until 26 Nov 2026.

Your files stay in your Maru cloud with no storage limit while you have points. The direct link is for you: Maru's terms don't allow sharing download links with other people.

Torrents and Telegram files too

The same app takes magnet links, .torrent and .nzb files. If you use Telegram, you can also connect the Maru bot and forward files to it. They land in the same cloud.
